A Small Dorset Garden

The client wanted a more scheduled garden with space for outdoor dining and lounging. A tricky corner plot, with a limited budget. The existing garden had an overgrown hedge and a lawn. We added a replacement Yew hedge and a crafted circular brick dining patio set within a large planting bed. The planting is in the foreground of views out into the garden. We installed recycled telegraph poles to mount a hammock, festoon lights, a shade sail, and a washing line. High quality, durable materials were used at the thresholds and in spaces to linger, gravel and brushed concrete was used in less prominent and utility areas.
